Laugh if you want, but two of the world's best in pool are about to square off on live streaming video. (11:11 Pacific). Just practicing now, but match could begin any minute. It'll be a race to 9 games in nine ball. If you tune in, you'll see the game played at a totally different level than you see in your local bar. I believe the player who figures out the break on this table best is the player who will win.
Keep your eyes on the cue ball...you'll see excellent control of the cue ball here. Oh, and "misses" won't often be misses...it'll be safety play designed to leave the opponent without a shot. At this level, it's all about computing odds of making a shot and cue ball control. Hoot! Nope...don't think Edwin could hang with these folks. The match I started this thread with is over. Mika Immonen of Finalnd put on a clinic. Beat Darren Appleton 9-1. Mika broke and ran out the final six racks. Almost unheard of on 9" Diamond tables with tight pockets.
Waiting for the next TV table match now...Stevie Moore one of the players...he's no Shane Van Boening, but he's fun to watch.
