Help finding Mercedes part please?

Car is daughter's 2003 ML320.
[disclaimer] Car is stupid expensive to maintain, she and her husband can't really afford it and is upside-down on it despite her father's warnings to the contrary.
[/disclaimer]

Need to find an A/C pushbutton (contoller?) Part# 163-820-55-89

Any help is appreciated.
Including smartass comments.

call Phil at mercedesshop.com, they are GREAT guys over there. If they don't have it, they'll find it:
1-888-333-4642

Tell him Jake sent you. He's never heard of me, but it's bound to catch on sooner or later

Why didn't she get a warranty? (never mind)

I get all the stuff for my '01 SLK-320 (that's not covered by warranty) at ********az - here's a link:

I don't see your particular part in their catalog, but you can call and ask. They're very good and because it's out of state you won't get raped on sales tax.

I know Pelican does carry some MB stuff too - dunno if they can get that particular part though - worth a call maybe... You'll get the same out-of-state tax break since you're not in CA (and Wayne & Co. are good guys to do business with... ;) ).

I would give the business to Wayne in a heartbeat.
Looks like it's a not too popular item so far...
Their extended warrenty ran out prior to this part shooting craps. All in all, the warrenty was a good investment for a change. Lots of stuff broke on this car, it's PO didn't take very good care of it, (read repo...)

In lieu of the A/C controller button they can use the alternate buttons that make the windows go down.

Myabe try DC automotive, I think they have a large inventory of mercedes parts.

www.car-parts.com
only website that matters if you want used
looks like it is from 60-100 bucks used lkq is the most reputable seller as they will warranty their stuff

Another vote for ********az. Go with Pelican if they have it, but their online MB inventory isn't comprehensive. It's understandable as Porsche is their core business.

Thanks everyone. The son-in-law is on the hunt.

Or - can you just bypass it and leave it on all the time? What part of the world is she in?
