LOL, UFO files TV show

I was watching TV and then went and did some chores. A little while later I noticed there was a TV show on called UFO files that talks about UFO sightings and evidence. Uh huh.
There was some phony make-believe scientist dragging a magnet around a supposed animal mutilation sight, and she explained that she usually finds an elevated amount of magnetite around mutilation sights and crop circles indicating alien presence.

CROP CIRCLES, OMG didn't anyone tell this psycho phony that crop circles were proven to be a man-made hoax decades ago? A bunch of the guys making the crop circles admitted there were doing it as a prank and took television crews out and actually demonstrated how they were made, and this BS artist is still pretending they are real.

I laughed for a little while and then changed the channel.
Scary thing is, there are lots of people out there who actually believe in this crap.
I could make a comparison to certain current events but I won't

OMG, didn't anyone tell you that MOST crop circles have been explained away as pranks, but that some of them...some of the really exotic ones, have been show to NOT be man made?

OMG, the stalks of the grasses are actually bent, not broken in these cases. You cannot take that many stalks and carefully bend each one to 90 degrees, in a coherent pattern, without breaking almost all of them.

OMG!

I rest my case. The world is full of fools who will believe anything because their own l existence is so horrible, so pitiful that they yearn for any kind of fantasy to use as an escape. Sad.

Only 60%? Heck, I don't believe we are all alone in this humongous universe, but I also don't believe we've yet been visited. Our chances of crossing paths with an ET any time soon is next to nil. We would need to overcome our space/time travel limitations to explore more than a pin point dot our own galaxy much less any of the other billions of galaxies. That's not to say ET hasn't already figured out how to get to us, but I have to see it myself.

When we consider for a moment the vastness of the universe, I find it almost impossible not to believe another form of life is out there somewhere.

I'm open minded but skeptical. I think that 99% of the UFO/Little Green Men stuff that we hear is from loonies, and that makes it next to impossible to tell if that other 1% is true or not. I believe that it's possible, but highly unlikely.

Pazuzu, is there anything online about the "couldn't be man-made" crop circles. I know that I could do a google search, but I figure that most of what I'd hit would be bunk. I figure that you can send me to a site that is better if you know of any. Thanks

Exactly... unfortunately too many people get wrapped up in the fantasy of meeting another intelligent life form with no idea of just how vast the universe is or how far away the closest galaxy is.

When I was visiting the central coast a few month back I was watching the sun go down and talking to a friend on the phone... 20 or 30 miles down the coast I see a small cigar shape moving slowly out from the mountains over the ocean... after five or ten minutes it suddenly disappeared... I have watched enough sunsets to be 99.99% sure it was just a natural phenomena.

I was describing the whole thing to my friend on the phone as it was happening thinking it was a blimp... when it disappeared he jokingly asked me "dude, has you started smoking pot?"

On two occasions I have seen UFO's, both times with multiple folks...the second time with two other, highly trained Navy aircrew.

I welcome your opinion on which part of the above equation I fall into

I would just like to know why every UFO has to be from another world, with little green men behind the wheel.

UFO by it's very definition means we don't know what it is.

I don't think we are the only living things in the universe by any means, and I've seen some things I can't explain. I don't immediately jump to the conclusion that it was an alien craft.

If you watch the show, the old guy ALWAYS tries to steer the person they are interviewing to admit it was an alien.

OK, you saw objects you could not identify. I see things all the time I can't identify, like when I go to my mother-in-laws house for dinner

Sometimes I see a sign in front of a store that is in some strange writing and I can't identify the words.
Are they in Spanish, Vietnamese, or maybe alien?

People see things they can't identify and some assume these things are from some alien world millions or billions of light years away. that's when I start shaking my head.
It's ironic that many of the same folks who believe in aliens visiting this planet also say that it is impossible for there to be a God.

I think that at least some of these are legitimate sightings of craft built and piloted by civilizations that are many, many years advanced beyond us...

1) These craft have been observed to make right angle turns at speeds estimated at thousands of miles per hour. We certainly may have built stuff like that by now, but not back in the 40's and 50's when some of these maneuvers were first seen by military and commercial pilots.

2) Many sightings are at close range in broad daylight (by credible people... not people who are drunk or on drugs while fishing in some backwoods swamp).

3) A significant percentage of these people are trained observers who know the difference between a meteor and something flying 300 yards off their right wing for 20-30 minutes; military and commercial pilots and law enforcement personnel... some of the most compelling witnesses who have come forward are men who are our fathers' age... no BS types who fought in WWII and Korea and who don't like publicity... especially publicity that can bring derision from friends and/or family.

I've seen shows where people are actually searching for this centuries old wooden boat built by a 900 year old man that had been loaded up 2 animals of each kind to escape a flood that would kill all other life. Some actually claimed to have seen it and have photos.

Tell us more about what it looked like, how far it was from your aicraft, for how long, etc...I love hearing from actual witnesses of these things.
