I'm watching the LA Laker game and............

This is the first time I have ever heard a commercial in spanish only.
Carl's Junior:confused:
This commercial was not 15 seconds, but maybe 30 seconds.
What if the consumer does not speak spanish??

Were you expecting Taco Bell? They banished the Frito Bandito. What medium delivered the signal... dish, cable, antenna, Juan Valdez's burro?

And you're surprised? Get used to it, you'll be seeing more and more of them until you won't see any in English.

Noah930 03-03-2009 07:22 PM

You live in a place called "Coto de Caza" and you're surprised? (Though I must admit, I haven't seen any non-English commercials on English-speaking television stations, before.)

126coupe 03-03-2009 07:22 PM

Now the play by play just switched to spanish only WTF??

Gogar 03-03-2009 07:24 PM

Did you hit the S.A.P Button?

nostatic 03-03-2009 07:24 PM

The only spanish speaking people in Coto are gardeners and maids.:D
That is unless you are bi-lingual :D

Noah930 03-03-2009 07:27 PM

You will be assimilated.

I can't believe it, 2 El Pollo commercials in 100% spanish,( actually it's not spanish its mexican) my Linguistics teacher verified it.
2 different languages.
American and English are completely different too, but, that's a different thread.
I don't claim to have great grammer, but learn friggin english, at least "American"
Sorry for my rant

Alert! A Jack in the box commercial in spanish and/or Mexican???
Parlo l'italiano molto, non capisco mexican,

Pazuzu 03-03-2009 08:48 PM

Those commercials were supposed to be aired during the soccer game I was watching, someone screwed up.

sammyg2 03-04-2009 05:23 AM

I didn't see the commercials (switching back and forth to another channel) but I did see or "hear" the switch to mexican language play by play for several minutes. I hit the mute button and a little while later fired off a letter to the network.
Idjuts.
