Sebring 2009- Who's going?
I know I've said this before, but THE race is coming up soon. IF I can get the time off, I would love to see what I believe is the last great 12 hour ALMS race. Audi, Puguet, Accura, BMW, Corvette, will all be there. The last Sebring race I was at was in 1968, so I suspect the town has changed a bit. ???. Are there any other Pelicans going this year for a little get-together? The idea of central Florida in mid march is really looking great, plus the wife said this is my year. I've said I'm going for the last 20 years, and haven't. So what say all of you. IS THIS THE YEAR/

Yeah, Sebrings changed a little since 68. More like transformed into a city. The downtown circle still exists though. The track itself has changed a lot too with only 2 straights still a part of the runways.

I've been and it was awesome. Not the kind of awesome that the wife would enjoy though. So, if there are a bunch of people going maybe we could all meet..

I'm lined up if I'm feeling up to it, one of my entertainers is heading down on Thurs, so I can catch a ride with him, my attorney will be in the same spot with his RV that he has had for 20+ years, sleeping covered, I have strippers lined up again:p since I haven't been drinking much because of meds lots of different beer(beer club) So as long as I'm feeling up to it, all bases are covered:D
