eRuf Targa

Sorry if it's been posted before.

The seals for the rear glass look a bit bulky but I really like this car! Pity it won't have that f6 howl. :(

At first glance I thought it was a soft window Targa.
Pretty cool.

A real targa....wow... put one of those on a Cayman, and I'll start selling blood to get one!!!

BRPORSCHE 03-11-2009 05:56 PM

Oh my that is good looking. Just download the sound of a flat 6 and I would drive that EVERYWHERE.

UconnTim97 03-11-2009 06:26 PM

I like it, great color too.

German Porsche tuning firm RUF has gone green by introducing at the Geneva Motor Show the production-feasible eRUF Greenster, an all-electric high-performance variant of its R and RT-Roadster gasoline engine models. The dark green, retro-style targa is based on the Porsche 997, but receives a Siemens-developed electric powertrain.

.........................RUF says that “small series” production is expected in 2010. If it reaches North America - which seems likely to Leftlane - it’ll be sold through RUF’s United States distributor, Dallas-based RUF Auto Centre.

Oh, wow, is that sexy. I mean, that's the complete package, right there. If I had the money, I would be all over that like white on rice. Seriously. That's just the best of all worlds. Inspired design, responsible engineering, and great performance. It doesn't get any better than that.

rcecale 03-12-2009 08:33 AM

Sexy, he11! that car is simply born-again bad!!! :D

austin552 03-12-2009 10:28 AM

Sorry, still don't get it.

CJFusco 03-12-2009 01:09 PM

Now THAT is flippin' awesome. A great tribute to one of Porsche's most maligned (and yet most famous) designs. I would absolutely drive one of those... if I had the money.
