thanks for the kind words guys, but I owe it all to friends here on Pelican, especially people like Dean (deanp) and Nicolas Hunziker (targa florio) who have helped extensively in the art department and Dave (dtw) and many others who have been very supportive over the last year. Couldn't have gotten this far (with a long way to go) without these guys.

Do you have a website for normal folks to place individual orders from? Or do you have a list of your retailers? I'm thinking I'd like to see my wife in one of those Speedster shirts. Thanks, Dan |
Wow Shaun! Your clothing is really cool!
I would love to have that yellow speedster shirt. Hey, you could make a spyder version.... :D Tell you what, clothes did NOT look that cool when I was a kid. Best of luck in your business, but it looks like hard work and talent are going to tip the scales for you already. angela |

Wayne mentioned using an image of whole car here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/459226-new-pelican-sticker-design.html
Maybe using just part is OK. It would suck to spend money building inventory, then not be able to sell it because of angry lawyers. |

Not to hijack, but I did shows as well, years ago. I found that if you don't "hire" anyone, the union has to let you set up your own booth. You are not allowed to have it fork lifted in or unpacked from a shipping crate. But, if you can unload it yourself, hand truck in in from the parking lot from a private vehicle, you can do your own work.
I have had to pay a union electrician to plug in my display power cord. That's actually a good thing if you see some of the jerry rigged electricals people show up with. The fire dept has an interest in this as well. If I had a new booth, it would be powered with batteries and LED lights. Once the show started, I could probably sneak a cord into the floor box to give the batteries a quick jolt. |
