That's the one! PM me if you need help getting it going or need any small parts from that era.

Will do, thank you.

As long as we're posting pics of steel bikes, here is one of mine. Well, not mine, but mine is identical except for the pictured bike has non-stock stem and drivetrain, while mine is all stock. It won't stay stock, I'm going to switch to drop bars, as I find the mustache bars less versatile.

I am really happy that I can shift without moving my hands on the bars, and from several positions. |
Well, I've got the sickness, I fear. While I am thoroughly enjoying my new Surly touring bike and plan to keep it, yesterday I happened onto a 12 spd, 60cm (my size), Medici Pro Strada, full Campy, totally original, unrestored and looking like it's never been ridden. It's like the pic below but with yellow tape and one bottle cage. It'll be fitted with new wheels.
I am stricken. I want it. Real bad! Am I nuts? Amusing/tragic back story at the end of this link: http://forwardyouth.blogspot.com/2008/11/devil-wore-red.html http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1240522894.jpg |

I just bought a Schwinn Paramount Titanium race bike handbuilt by Serotta. The components are Dura-Ace. It's en route from Minnesota right now. When it arrives and is put together, I'll post photos. SmileWavy
