Apple support for return...holy cow is it bad

I think Apple has forgotten what it means to be a seller of premium products. Unbelievable difficult and clueless support. Lots of computer generated placating language with zero action. Just awful.

And this isn't a 'we don't care you're stuck with our phone so piss off' issue, it's a $1500 studio display that came with dead pixels. you'd think that might warrant some attention.

as many of us here likely do I try to buy the best when it matters. and in doing so over the years I've experienced top notch service in most cases. A shame that a company with so much in resources does so little.

omg here's the current chat response on their website-
And as I have grown through all your chats and apology will not work here for you, but I sincerely apologise for all the miss action. You have been faced here. I will do my best so you get a query resolved as soon as possible.

That’s bizarre, are you 100% certain you are on with a true Apple chat bot? That sounds scammy….I know they are behind the curve with AI but yikes….

LOL! This seems like one of those times that AI would have been an improvement over "Kevin" from Bangalore...

I wonder if wandering into an Apple store would have worked or been better. There may be limitations on what they will handle in a store.
