 you drive a porscha

So, what gives we drive a Porsche, its not a BOG standard Ford POS, Nissan "I go velly velly fast" fortune cookie. it aint a camero, or some Pinto engine beast. So why is it that people but a Porsche then expect to run it on a shoestring. "I cant buy that bolt, it costs 5 bucks, there usually 10 cents a dozen." Get over it, its a Porsche. Ok our ones are older and not maybe same kinda presteiege now as was then, not exactly CGT or Cayenne money but still, the badge on the front is still the same. My insurance company class it as a grp 20 car, presteige sports car. And lets all forget the bollx that its just a great fast car to drive. Dude, you have your Porsche keys on the bar table or driving with the rag top down,, this is Porsche Country full of flavour and poseability. If you wanna cheap fast car, hell buy a datsunz machimotto z3000, or what ever cheap a$$ rubbish there turning out. But dont winge and moan on forums, I dont want to speand more than 2 bucks for this or that. Now not saying you shouldnt do things to help with maintenance etc, but just beaware of the class and history of the car your driving. If I bought a Ferrari or a Rolls, I'd know that I'd get ripped for parts, but when your banging that 40DD babe in the back seat you know why you drive it. yo yo yo check it out my peeps its big mofo time :cool::cool: http://images.intellichoice.com/imag..._caymans_s.jpg http://www.pedalpumpinggirls.com/por..._boots_012.jpg http://www.ifyourmotheronlyknew.co.u...lly_Newton.jpg |

mss Kelly Newton is aight, wouldn't kick er out of bed ( unless that pic is from 1987 like the 944 turbo, and she aged like many 944 turbo's did.. many hard ridden miles )
	 |

 wow, that was almost unreadable.
	 |

Bah, 944's are cheap to maintain. You want real fun, get an early/mid 90's Jag. Need a washer fluid reservoir? $200 (yeah, $200 for a plastic bottle) Need a radiator hose? $200 Need a Power steering Reservoir Cap? They only sell it with the Reservoir, wanna guess how much? We won't get into how much the stepper motor would have cost had my mechanic not had a used one buried in a pile of junk.

I'd like to hear this guys take on Wall-E.
	 |

I guess we know why the 944 market is dominated by $3000 clunkers now...the owners are too cheap to buy $5 bolts.
But they still put their Porsche keys on the bar to look cool. |

Actually, in 911's there's more room in the front passenger seat.
