OK, I used to have a long braided pony tail (wife liked the long hair, braided was the only way I could stand it). I finally got tired enough of having to deal with the hair that I shaved it all off. I took these pics to send to some friends who wouldn't otherwise believe it the day that I shaved. I think this is about 2 or 3 days of growth.

Of course a month later, I looked like Jerry Garcia:p
Never stopped the ladies, they talk to me either way.

I just got some shaved ham from the deli and it still had a hair in it!

I had a smooth face until I took this new job, about a month ago. Construction trade guys prefer their representatives to be a little "edgy," so I dropped the crisp white dress shirts in favor of jeans half the time, and I let my face grow. I've trimmed the cheeks now and eventually I'll shave the chin area, so as to leave a long, droopy moustache. I look fairly good with that. In the meantime, I've been getting more than the usual long looks from the fairer sex. Yesterday, I stopped at a bar to kill 15 minutes before a dinner party, and the young, shapely bartender strongly suggested I come in again some time. I'm going to do that.

Yeah, many chicks do appreciate a slightly edgy man.

Dude, you NEED to find job soon.

I think you are starting to go stir crazy.

Just give it a few more days, then shave zebra-striped patterns in it...drives the chicks wild! ;)

rattlsnak 03-27-2009 11:03 AM

Your problem is you're creeping these women out.

If you move your head when you look in your rearview, that's creepy... you're calling unnecessary attention to yourself.

Likewise with "my eyes dart to the sideview mirror"... I'm guessing you moved more than your eyes.

In the gas station pay line, IMO, it's wierd that you think you have to "move a little to the side and look at her sideways to make sure she is not blocking the aisle."

What's up with that? If somebody walked in, it's her responsibility to move, isn't it?

It's not the beard. :p

Makes me think of Patrick Carpentier in his early Champ Car days. I can't find a pic and NASCAR made him clean up.

Probably a good move...we've seen ya in a dress, just not that crisp white one :)

Maybe it's the gray, I took this picture the day of this thread.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1238344951.jpg

Perhaps I just remind people of something?

Ha! you should see where I live. You can tell when I'm dressed up because I'm wearing the "leather" sandals.

People are always telling me I should do this or that with my looks; I tell them I could give a rip, I'm married. I still shave for sex, I'm 49 so you do the math ;)
