Velvet/suede sweatsuits---Why?
Just a funny little rant:
I've noticed lately that there are ALOT of people wearing velvet or suede looking sweatsuits. Not"I'll just wear these to the store for milk" pants but entire, matching outfits. I don't get it. Are they that comfortable? I must say I have noticed it with men more than women. the young females seem to wear their jammies out in public, I've noticed. Is it just me getting old and cranky or is it just another fad?

Not a fad. People are getting fatter...the velour jogging suit is good camouflage.

Unfortunately some women at work have started wearing these velour tracksuits to work. Very unprofessional if you ask me.

I think it's the ultimate in cheesy, loser "fashion". I wear a pair of sweats to the store once in a while, but wouldn't go more than 1/2 mile from the house that way. The only people who have any right to wear a matching sweatsuit (and not look like a total loser for it) are those who are sponsored by the manufacturer. In other words, almost no one.

Ok, NONE of the people I have seen in them look like the chicky in the picture.
Jeez, remember when wearing jeans to work was a big deal? I don't even own a pair of sweats. Don't know why but I don't.
