So Brorag. Tell me about that off-the-ground tent. Does that keep snakes and spiders out? How much does it weigh?

Brorag 05-01-2009 08:23 AM

Tent-cot

I lived in this for 6 weeks--worked great. The single was small enough to fit between the back and front seats of the 911. I'm 250 and 6'3", so it was a little snug, but it worked fine. If I had the room I would have gotten the larger cot. It's made fairly sturdy (40 lbs), so I wouldn't plan on backpacking with it.
No problems with bugs, snakes; didn't keep RoninLI from waking me up, though.
