They are good cars. No issues. They are one of the best used car bargains on the market right now. The '07 model is nice, too. The 17" wheels are a little nicer on the '07.

Nice, but a bit gutless (as in 0-60 in 9+ seconds). Personally, I've never been a fan of the newer MB interiors either. An '06 BMW 330i would be a much better choice, IMO. They are in the same (general) price range, and get about the same gas mileage (and weigh the same), but the bimmer trumps it in all other areas, IMO. For a "sports sedan" I'd even go 325i before C230. If you like the C-Class Mercs, I'd at least step up to the C280.

The car is actually for my pops. I can't get him into a bimmer....I have a bimmer. The C230 Sport has the styling he wants, and I don't want him or my mom driving anything more powerful than that....the electronic gizmos in the car will keep them distracted enough until they get use to it.

They are selling for half their new price and most have very low miles and are still under warranty. Not bad for something in the 15-17K range. I just want to be sure there weren't any large ticket repairs common to them as the 2006 is the first of the new model.

I haven't found much negativity about them on the web, so thought I'd check here. Thanks guys.
