The story doesn't add up. How can you trade punches while someone has your tongue between their teeth? That would make it horribly worse!

Some girls (and I guess guys) get off on that. Everyone's different. Hell, for that matter some like getting tied up and I never could understand that.

Regarding his looks, he never was "the pride of the litter," but getting your mugshot at 0600 in the morning after being drunk all night long, screwed over by a hooker, then a dime dropped on by the hotel security staff and drug to the police dept and booked, not many of us would look our "Sunday best" so to speak.
