USC student killed in hit and run
http://www.dailytrojan.com/news/student-killed-in-hit-and-run-near-campus-1.1633504
after you read the article, watch the vid clips on the bottom. This year has been horrible at SC, we've had one murder, 2 rapings, countless robberys, and a gastrointestinal virus spread throughout campus... and now this. my prayers go out to her mother |

Again? Wasn't there a fatal hit-and-run on that exact same intersection just three or four years ago?
That whole area is a mess when it comes to traffic. I used to teach at USC and was involved in a hit-and-run on my motorcycle a block away (Jefferson and Vermont) -- stopped at a red light in the middle of the night and didn't see the red light (or me). It was non-fatal, obviously. It maybe five years ago now. Glad that I'm no longer working there! |
yeah it is a busy intersection, but it was at 3:00 am, supposedly the guy ran a red. the girl flipped over the car and died on impact, the other victim was stuck in the windshield, so they pulled over and the passenger "removed" him from the windhsield and they drove off.
fukking sick people |
You got to remember where (even in the 'big picture') USC is located.
We don't even fly low over that part of town. |
Yeah, I know, I live a couple blocks from campus. But still, it just seems against human nature. A person is a good person no matter what part of town they live in.

dated a girl who lived on hoover. lots of victim students surrounded by predatory gang bangers.

Maybe your statement was true 20 years ago, but not anymore. Bad people are everywhere now. My main requirement for where I live now is no neighbors, vibration sensors at the points of ingress, and a clear field of fire. Am not anticipating any trouble now that the locals got wind of my situation. |
