The Official Shameless Merchandising Thread
Okay, time for some fun. We all know it's out there. Corporate logos on everything, hype and over-hype of anything and everything, etc. Well, here's the chance to share your MOST obnoxious, ridiculous and silly pictures of shameless merchandising in action.
Case in point: I visited the NE Patriots Pro Shop this past week while I was out that way and they had an "official" New England Patriots HAMMER. Yes, a hammer. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone or camera with me but I assure you it's there. A toilet seat cover too. Disney would be proud. Share what you find. I want to see just how weird our society is... Post your pics of the strangest things used for advertising/marketing purposes, locations for corporate slogans or logos, etc. I imagine there are some really interesting/bizzare ones out there, so let's see 'em! - - - - - Here's my find for the day, especially for BSG fans - the official Cylon "toaster". Toasts bread with a cylon picture on one side and "FRAK OFF" on the other. Mom would be so proud. Don't have any pics but damn near all of it is shameless. I'll date myself here and tell you I remember when the concept of cable tv came out it was to pay for tv with no commercials. Now is that a crock of s*$t???? The latest version... watching a show and seeing all the crap scroll across the bottom of the screen. Or how about not even being able to take a crap without it being sponsered by something. Last year I posted a commercial count during a football game. If I'm not mistaken over 100.

They do make this - similar idea. I think there's a NYY urinal cake out there someplace too.
