Interesting e-mail request for car emblems
I recieved this recently and was wondering if any one else has gotten one like it. It may be a scam or at least some kind of hairbrained scheme. What do you think?
Dear (Parts) Manager, My name is Marc Veenhuis and I love cars as long as I can remember. I spend most of my time at home because I am handicapped, this is why I started collecting car emblems & nameplates a few years ago, a hobby what is very interesting to me, due to 6 cerebral infarctions, I have been in and out hospitals lately, walking and talking is quite difficult and painful but I try it again step by step behind my walker wearing braces to protect me when I fall, between practicing and physiotherapy I try to pick up collecting. Maybe you have got old or spare car badges you cannot use anymore. I really would love to receive them for my collection, I will appreciate that very much, maybe trading or swapping is possible, I have stamps, car brochures or other things to trade or swap. You'll make me very happy with every spare badge you can offer me. Thank you for reading my e-mail request, I hope to hear from you. Enjoy your great cars ! With kind regards and respect, Marc Veenhuis Boomgaard 10 7021 KZ Velswijk - Zelhem The Netherlands |
Anymore, random email = scam. Unless you have an ad out there selling car emblems, in which case it's probably still a scam.;)
