hard to stay motivated at work when i only worked two days. hunting related.
the governor made me. i stored up a few furlough days ( LOVE THEM!) and took last friday, then monday and tuesday off. i went on my rookie turkey hunt. i took my first archery (or any) turkey. came to work yesterday, and today...and then i am off friday, for a three day wild pig hunt. archery only for me. we get 25,000 acres to run about in. well, the ranch will be divided between rifle guys and bow men.
i would post up a turkey picture, but i respect the opinion of the non-hunting population here and will refrain. dont want to ruffle any feathers ;) my two days of work has the feel of a fire drill. i am now working with an aggressive, claim happy contractor. hate it. then next week i have 5- 12 hour days in a roll. 10 am - 10 pm. yup, swing shift. all our office newbs that get the crap hours are burnt out. i volunteered to give them a break. work gets in the way of fun, for sure. |

Vash, post pics anyway. Where did you hunt and where are you going for the pigs? I have my protest signs ready. |

This thread is worthless w/o pischers...and a play by play...turkeys are hard to come by w/ a bow. Pigs, not so much...in other words, don't come back empty handed;)
Good Luck! |
