Awesome Fox Sterlingworth
A friend of mine was at one time in charge of the Colt Custom shop as head engraver. Now retired he takes commissions from time to time. He sent me pics of his latest job, and Art Deco Fox Sterlingworth using the Chrysler building as an inspiration...awesome stuff...

Wow, that's some nice work. Those Sterlingworths are some nice little guns, I have an "AE" in 20g that is one of my favorite bird guns. I know you do some smithing yourself, can you make some trigger springs for a LeFever 16g?

Have you checked the price on a Philly AE in 20 ga. lately? Better be sitting down when you look!
Is your Lefever an Ithaca gun (nitro special), or an Uncle Dan? |

It's an Uncle Dan G grade. I haven't checked double prices in a few years, I'm sure they're doing better than my stock.

I have seen them as high as $4K! Let me look around in the shop. I may have a set for an H grade that are the same as the G. I'll let you know. Are yours broken or lost?

When I bought the gun years ago, the triggers felt a bit "light". When I pulled the sideplate there were springs from a ballpoint ben in there. I had a guy Keith Kearcher redo the damascus but never had him make the springs. Let me know, thanks.

I have seen some of Keith's work and I'll bet those tubes look fabulous. I have done a few black & whites myself and it is no easy or quick job.
