See, and I went to a new school in a relatively your district for middle school and a slightly older high school.

Many of the teachers in the district had gone to school there, gone to college, and gotten jobs back in the district right out of college. There were plenty of 20-something hotties. They had a rather distinct lack of interest in the students...

Orangefield, Texas (The Weekly Vice) -- Jennifer Lea Burton, a 39-year-old teacher and coach at Orangefield Junior High School, in Orangefield, TX was indicted Wednesday on charges of having sex with a 15-year-old female student.

According to the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Burton has been indicted on three counts of sexual assault and three counts of improper relationship between an educator and student.

Although few details have been released about the the incidents themselves, the indictment stated that the alleged sexual relationship spanned "a period from September 2008 through November 2008."

Orangefield school officials say Burton was placed on leave on March 30 after authorities launched an investigation into the allegations.

Burton turned herself in to authorities and was booked into the Orange County Jail. She was released after posting a $50,000 bond.

Burton is herself a graduate of Orangefield High School and began teaching for the district in 2003. She coaches volleyball, basketball and track and reportedly had a daughter who attends school in the district.
