5 stand or S/C Pelican shoot?

Any interest for those of us in SoCal? Kinda thinking triple B in So. El Monte. Gun Rentals available.

Maybe Junish, or non-POC race weekend.

Never tried it. I'm up for it.

I used to shoot skeet a lot. I'm up for it. Trap is for people who can't handle skeet. I'm in. Besides El Monte there is also Oak Tree in Newhall and another range Moore and Moore in Sunland area.

Careful It's like crack.

I am still recovering from a case of shells a week addiction 10 years sober. Quality shotgun entertainment.

You can borrow a 12 gauge from me. I've met you and my brothers 12 gauge with a stock extension will fit you just fine.

I think I can borrow a 20 gauge 1100. Great, another facet of the hobby to take my money...

Still cheaper than racing :p

lowyder993s 04-21-2009 08:43 AM

I've got a 20 ga. Citori if you want, 12 ga. Citori and an A-5...not a Barettafan...a Browning fan :p

No travel plans until the end of June. In LA that I'm aware of is the one in El Monte, Oak Tree in Santa Clarita and there's a sporting clays place in Sun Valley, IIRC.

Hey now!

I love 'em all actually! Just picked up a browning straight stocked semi auto for dove in 20 ga. Very sweet shooting gun.

It's just when i'm crawling out of bed at 4am to kill ducks that i will only ever reach for the beretta cause it'll surely be a drake pintail that i miss when some other brand jams on me!

just yankin on ya a little...my son took his A-390 to the Grand Nationals in 2005...his team did allright, 9th in the nation.

I usually shoot my O/U for ducks...looks like I've drug it thru the marsh and back a few times. I pay for it when I'm shooting 3" bismuth all day.

Where are you in MD? My old shooting partner has a deke shop in Cambridge...Chesapeake Classics:

BTW...your new boat is sweet...check out his buddy...he had some great pixs of his boat in heavy water.

Jeff Coates is a pretty good photographer as well. The guy definitely has a big set when it comes to going out in icy water.

I am about 10 minutes from the ocean and 20 min from the river i hunt most of the time.

berettafan 04-21-2009 01:52 PM

Speaking of sporting clays what i REALLY would love to have one day is an older 682. The plain receiver type with the palm swell. That was a damned fine clays gun.

Got to meet Ugo Beretta a few years ago in NYC at the Gallery. Very neat experience.
