Anyone ever try building one of these? Why in the heck are the kits always missing parts

Not those but I buy others I never build, had these for 8-10 years. seem to like them in the boxes.

Maybe someone had already been inside your kit. I've never opened up a new one and had any missing parts. Try this site for what you need:
