You're hardly running anything!!

I remember when Windows 95 would have 1-2 constantly running processes...

Most of that stuff is the operating system. You can do a Google search on each .exe to get a better description of what it is.

You have an ATI Video card, realtek audio, and have Quicken, and java installed. Most of those are underlying components of Windows.

Nothing jumps out at me as bad.

Those are a fraction of the open and running programs to make W-XP function. I think I remember that W95/W98 took almost a thousand open programs to run.

type them into google. You'll get back what programs are running those .exes.

Wow, the list is so short! As stated, most are just normal OS things, then several are for an HP printer, video card, sound card, blah, blah. Nothing to worry about.

I also see M.S. Office and a HP printer (multi-function?) and Internet Explorer is open. I don't see anything unusual either.
