Night of the Hunter on right now
Only flick Mr Lawton, or is it Sir Charles, ever directed, always liked this flick
Mitchum as the malevolent preacher man with 'love' and 'hate' tattoed on his hands Gish and Shelley Winters too

Fantastic Movie! I was always amazed by the fidelity and range of the black and white film, it is so rich. The film really uses the 'language' of cinema to full affect, much like Orson Welles did in Citizen Kane. Mitchum is really spooky too!

Great stuff. Watched a bit of "The Blue Dahlia" lastnight-- Veronica Lake....delicious. I'm a big fan of TCM.
