Hey Paul, are you going to the amateur tournament in LV next week. One of my coworkers is competing...

'Fraid not...geographically undesirable to me. "The Break" is going to live stream it, so I plan on tuning in. Wish your friend well for me...and may he get easy draws at first. Tell him to watch out for Glenn Atwell of Vancouver/Portland area...but he probably already know that if he's going to Vegas. Atwell won the Reno bar table championships...made it to the finals in all 3 venues, won one of them...nobody had done that before.

You might consider tagging along...from what I understand, it's a crazy scene! "The" amateur event of the year. You'll see the game played at a level far beyond what you see in the neighborhood bar.

Don't know who the babe is but back when I was at the U of D George Thorogood used to shake the Deer Park Tavern before he was famous.
Edgar Allen Poe also used to hang out there too, but that was before my time.
