ummmmmmmmmmm Yeah, I feel happy when I manage to put 5 steps together without falling over.

Trial riders are amazing to watch

Oh Haha 05-03-2009 02:50 PM

My nuts would have been useless by the time I was done trying ONE of those stunts.

He is very good at what he does.

DARISC 05-03-2009 02:53 PM

Just Googled him:

"As of 21 April 2009, Danny, a twenty-three year old from the Isle of Skye, had been practising for more than 12 years. He gave up his job as a mechanic so he could ride full time.[2] He now lives in Edinburgh. He often listens to music while riding.[3]

Danny draws a lot of skill from influential riders of the trials scene including Martyn Ashton, Chris Akrigg, Mathew Street, Michael Judson, Kenny Wilson, Fraser McNeil and Brian Bleech."

Kudo's to his parents who never taught him the meaning of the words no and can't.

Embraer 05-03-2009 03:39 PM

I used to ride trials. we had a big trials scene at purdue. I competed at sport level..never made it pro, but I used to hang with Jeff Lenosky and Aaron Lutze.

Lol, I thought that looked like the Edinburgh skyline in the first few shots.

Amazing stuff- thanks for posting!

Embraer 05-03-2009 05:43 PM

yeah, he was one of the "trialskings" (famous internet videos of trials riding about 6 years ago

Was this thread supposed to be a rip on this kid, or giving him props?

I think the guy is amazing.

Seriously, are you serious? :D

I remember back in the stone ages when I was a kid I thought I was a great bike rider. In my wildest dreams I would have never thought of those stunts. I will blame in on equipment. I had a crappy 3 speed with the long banana seat. I broke the frame several times. It had so many welds it weighed a ton. That guy is totally amazing.

Jeez i can think of about 12,325 things i'd rather spend that much time on in perfecting a skill.

It's impressive i guess, if you're alone.

Me personally, i prefer a companion, so i chose sex.

actually, it's fun when you get a group of trials riders going. it's also an easy way to get phone numbers of chicks....met a lot of girls in school by riding a bike, as crazy as it sounds

I could see that. Chicks like when guys do crazy stuff to impress them. (i occasionally get ran over by muslims to do the same thing, lol)

The problem is that getting that good almost certainly involves about 200 broken bones and about 20,000 spills.

There's a gymnast dude that has a video online somewhere ill try and track it down today. As far as physical impressiveness, i have never seen anyone that can remotely compete with this guy.

He is awe inspiring, really.

I too think the guy is amazing. I put his level of athletic skill in the gifted category. Seriously (unlike my thread title).

m21sniper 05-04-2009 10:16 AM

Now THIS dude is impressive:
