These are all good things. These 'small' ones release the stress on the fault s l o w l y.....

It's when you have not had any for a while that it's bad. Both ends of the San Andreas have been 'busy' for the last month or so. The middle length (Parkfield) has not moved at all. That's the scary part.

There is a pattern..if ya don't know it...seems like when somthing moves out Whittier/Chino/RC way then something will move a bit later out towards Northridge/Simi/Westlake..

When one end moves it puts stress on the other end...

There usually is sesmic activity before a BIG ONE....
