Can't say I loved what he did, but he did have his moments. Sorry to hear that he is now gone.

Sad news.

He did have his moments of brilliance, my favorite being "The French Mistake" from Blazing Saddles...

I never thought he was that funny, but you couldn't help but like the guy.

He was really funny in Blazing Saddles, perhaps my favorite comedy of all time.

I thought he was hilarious. I am surprised to find out he was straight though.

Not that there is anything right with that...

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. DeLuise in 1999. A very respectful man who had a WONDERFUL delivery of one liners!! Really LOUSY jokes that he told with the timing to make them funny! Very professional in the corporate setting in which we met. A really good man who took time to meet peons like us.

The Wife and I LOVE his cook books, the recipes are wonderful!

I wish him God's speed and wish the best for his family.

I too met him one time many years ago when I was on set with a car from Barris'. Dom walked up and intruduced himself to me as if I wouldn't have recognized him otherwise. He was a very nice guy and had the whole crew in stitches all day long. Meeting this guy made you feel like you just made a new best friend.
R.I.P. Dom
