My turn to rant

Couple of months ago I heard about an American company that is making ear buds among other gadgets for phones and laptops. I was interested in a product called Z.Buds, went on their web site and read about the awards, how good a product it is. They even have a video showing show to use their product.
OK fine I bite and order me a set, well they have a special, buy one at full price $79.99 and get the second at half off. Great! I'll take two.
Fast forward to the first week I have the Z.buds, music would only play from one ear bud while the only way to get it to play from the other is to wiggle the wire where the mini plug is. Great! $80.00 made in America pos lasts one week. (I live in Kentucky land of the Corvette and Camry, I know America can make good stuff)
Next week I break out the second pair, this one lasts two weeks!!!
The problem with this pair is I have to squeeze the inline volume control to get it to play thru both ear buds. WTF!
The good thing about this company is they have a lifetime warranty on their products. I email them telling of my situation and they tell me to ship it to them and they'll fix or replace them. Cool, I follow their instructions and wait for a reply. Couple weeks later I get an email saying they got the box so I figure all is well.
UPS drops off my Z.buds fixed and ready to go right... NOT! They only sent me one pair not the two I sent them. I get on the macbook and shoot them an email saying where is the other pair and they tell me the box I sent them only had one pair. Get this the customer no service rep. is saying if I want another pair I have to buy one.
The only proof that I have is my insured receipt as well as the Postal service insurance form stating that my parcel was insured for $125.00 the amount I paid for two z.buds. I did email them pictures of the forms tonight so we'll see what comes out of this.
I know this much they will not get any more of my money, they'll be fixing this one pair until I'm 60 and i'll be sure to tell everyone I know that z.buds last two weeks tops!

ever heard of "White Van speakers?"

well, these look like white van headphones.

Some people just don't have the sniffers for the stuff, and I get that..
but I don't see how on earth you could trust that branding. So yea, they are made in the USA, which is great if you want rock and roll, baseball, or a corvette.

...but buying headphones based on the fact they were made in good ole 'merica isn't a smart buy. Show me a frequency response graph or what type of driver construction they are using... technical data here..


sorry, you gave a rant you get a rant. I do hope you do get some sort of retribution for the amount they screwed you over.
