Can you ID this German Grill Badge?.
I found this auto grill badge 32 years ago in 1987 in an apartment that I was renting way back when.........I just re-discovered it while cleaning out my garage the other day.
Anyone know what auto it's off of, and maybe what vintage or year age it may be? Possibly the value of it? $8 or $800? or somewhere in-between? ![]() "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" on the front with numerous flags, It's stamped Made in Spain on the back. About 3" diameter. ![]() Maybe an old Mercedes Benz from the 50's? This website and car sports the same Crest. http://www.hdg.de/index.php?id=299&L=1&type=98&cHash=d1f02bd227

Probably generic. I just has all the state flags from then-West Germany.

The Baden-Wurttemburg crest is colored wrong (should be yellow, not orange) and has little crests at the top of it which aren't there anymore...
That's where I am from, I can't comment on the accuracy of the rest. The Saxony state isn't there so this was definitely made before 1990. It's legit, weather or not it's legit and worth anything who knows. It's not something specific to Porsches that is for sure. Any Porsche grill badge that would have been put on a 356 or earlier car would have definitely featured a more prominent Stuttgart crest. This one has Berlin at the top.
