Lottery pool
The Canadian 649 lottery is approx $40M this Saturday, May 16. Anyone here interested in starting a pool for the draw? I can organize, buy and get all the proper forms (should we win anything). It's open to Canadians and Americans alike. We don't pay taxes on lottery winnings up here. For our American friends, Uncle Sam might have his way with you; so keep that in mind.
Everyone that participates would contribute the same amount, $20, and we split winnings evenly. We have until Saturday noon to do this. Paypal is the only way to collect the funds in time. Once purchased, I'll scan the tickets and email them to all participants well before the draw (Saturday afternoon - draw is Saturday night). If we win free tickets or smaller amounts, I will carry the tickets/funds over to the next draw until the funds are exhausted. It's a great way to lever smaller amounts into more chances to win. If interested, PM or email me. Mike |

I don't know the odds but I suspect a pool only changes the odd a miniscule amount if at all. I always thought the lottery was just a tax on the mathematically challenged. But that is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Good Luck! |

Odds don't change no matter how many tickets one buys. However, the chances of winning increase with more tickets bought. |
