So my wife asks me today.... Hun, did you read the funny posts about the girl I used to date? and did you read the one about the family pictures? He he he they sure were funny.... (I am like, What the F&ck?).... Apparently someone in my home has discovered a cool site to get up to date information & news with a lot of humor thrown in..... Too bad to... I sure enjoyed posting here, but now I will have to either go underground or find another site.... He he he they sure were funny :rolleyes:

I once read that the average time married couples speak a day is only 10 minutes. I remind my wife sometimes: "10 minutes are up!" :D

Wow, that's too bad. I know it works that way around here and I'm sick of it. Yet, when we get in the car for any kind of drive over 30 minutes, I hear all the drivel.

This is the way I have heard it works:

Great minds muse over ideas.
Average minds discuss events.
Small minds talk about people.

10 minutes of people talk is enough. Move up or shut up.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind talking to the wife, it's just this is the closest thing to a man cave that I have.... a fortress of solitude when I am feeling blah and need a laugh.... every other place in the house is spoken for, and now they are coming to take my Pelican too....:( Maybe, I am destined to be one of those weird old men that hang out at the snack bar in the convenience store and pretend to read the paper....:eek:

P.S. Guess the title of the thread is a little vague, it is an inside joke with me and my SO, from a Married with children episode... when Al asks Peg what she was doing? and she says Nuttin... Al quickly replies Nut & Honey Cereal???:D

And you believe this? I find it interesting that a statement such as this, which is really "about people" (their minds specifically) would self-referentially come from a person with a small mind. Why therefore give it consideration at all?

In all seriousness, I find this to be true more often than not. The ones that feel the need to gab about celebrities and/or other individuals they know are typically the ones that are not worth listening to.

Dude - this is the INTERNET! If you a looking for a quiet place (fortress of solitude, as you call it), where "what is said here, stays here," then you've got the wrong place.
