I also use a piece of 2x4 and grind speedy dry into the oil stain. Works great. I even use the speedy dry for the cats litter box. It comes out cheaper than buying kitty litter and this way I always have speedy dry for the garage.

Spray it with WD-40, lacquer thinner, or varsol, cover with plastic for a day or two. Then the kitty litter.
