I'd go back and fix some things I did wrong in the last few years of my marriage, which led to recent divorce from a woman I love very, very much.:(

Maybe you can still fix it. Court her all over again. And don't give up.

At least until the restraining order.

how about Jennifer Jones at 25, the one from that King Vidor flick, Duel in the Sun, not the one that married Gretsky. Smokin' Hot

Damn F'in' Straight

Oh, I forgot to mention, a Chinese President. Who can channel Bruce Lee (and Catherine Deneuve).

You are a black rain cloud. Where's the romance, man?

Whew, I had to read your post twice. I thought you said Grace Jones. I think we already have extraterrestrials among us.

What else would you like to see in your lifetime?

I've been lucky enough to see and do many the of the things I ever wished for.

In the past couple of years I've entertained spending a month in the Galapagos Islands scuba diving. Can't say which month as it's a function of how the currents flow that year. This started after free diving there in a low key fashion and viewing the many islands close up from the water. Being how I grew up on the water and have dived at many locals I know what I want.

I made a buddy connection with a local native commercial boat captain that can hook me up to any action I could handle. All I really have to do is spend a few months getting in shape for some of the most radical high current cold water and pristine wildlife areas in the world, ie: no tourist contamination. Nothing stopping me but getting my ass in gear.

I like to see them do away with smog for 25 years or older cars again in this wonderful state.

See myself and my family 10-15 years from now, so I can avoid mistakes starting now.

See myself fit again and win just one more bike race. I perfer to win by out sprinting on an uphill finish better then a break away.

The one that's coming soon is to drive the great Alaskian Hwy in my land cruiser with my family starting from LA. But, we are leaving (driving) to Vancouver and get on a cruiser ship next wednesday to see Alaska. Getting closer to my wish, but yet so far.

I am thinking of Jennifer Jones, B&W pic, she was stunning, and I am into blondes

Thought of something else, I'd like to have a beer with the safety consultant for the movie Jackass some day

Weed legalized
Drinking age lowered to 18 or 19
Police departments that focus on safety over revenue

That would've been cool. I'm halfway through his autobiography at the moment. What a life. Too bad that letely he's been feuding with his kids regarding his estate.

Wouldn't mind having a beer with Bob Hoover as well...

Joeaksa 06-05-2009 05:18 AM

Hate to burst several of your guys bubble's, but Yeager is an absolute a$$**** once you get him away from the crowds and anything that pays him money to "be a star" so to speak. A good friend of mine lives near him in Oregon and he has been run out of the local airport for "having an attitude" when he comes there. In the flying world very few like him IMHO.

Bob Hoover on the other hand is a real gentleman. Will bend over backwards to be friendly and especially likes talking with kids about flying. Very few people are as good as Bob is with an airplane.

The one I met that still leaves a very strong impression is Jimmy Doolittle. They do not make them like that anymore. Would have loved meeting Jimmy Stewart as well, who flew bombing missions in WW2 then returned home and jumped right back into work, not letting his fame change life any.
