with cheap cars like this, almost nothing should be added to your insurance cost. because it is a second or third car, there is almost no increase in liability insurance, since you can't drive more than one car at a time. and for comprehensive/collision, just skip that. Comprehensive insurance on a $750, $1500, $2500, etc. car makes no sense.

I dont carry full on my 5k 944 and my dad only carries liability on the Corrado.

after giving 4 to my daughter, I'm down to about 20 or so cars, trucks and vw buggies dated from 1937 to 1999. thinking about selling most and getting a decent street/rat rod. yes, you can have too many cars

I only carry collision on the two of my vehicles that cost me $10K + along with my airplane....... The rest all just get liability.
