That 'fisherman's knot' is just about the same as the 'lover's knot' I mentioned but would be stronger cuz it incl. an extra wrap on each knot. Cool

I use a truckers hitch and people are facinated by it. It beats using tie downs - a lot cooler.

#1 knot, besides don knotts. no matter how hard it is oulled, it is easy to undo.
the truckers knot. basically tie a loop in the rope, put the rope around and object then back thru the loop and pull down and tie. it is like a pulley .
