I thought they're an east coast tranny shop like AAMCO or Cottman.

Same here. Used them for a few replacement engines in my pickup/dump trucks.

So big they named a town after them "Jasper, Indiana" is/was the original head office.
I too have installed and had good luck with them when I was an auto tech.

I think they build engines for a few nascar and other racing series teams. Heard nothing but good about them.

They are a NASCAR sponser.

When we blow an engine in our patrol vehicles they replace them with Jasper's.

no kidding; always assumed they were poor QC junk based on the people recommending them. live and learn i guess.

We have several Jasper dealers in the area...

We sell them at my shop and have had good luck with them. I would reccomend them....

I knew the owner of AAMCO, but he died a few years back. My partner bought his 928.

Same guy also owned MAACO.
