"Lost" fans, you might like this new show our Fall lineup-"Flash Forward"
The pilot airs September 24 on ABC. Sort of like "Lost" in that they are threading clues together on an "Incident" that happened to everyone in the world at the exact same time. I worked the pilot, and will be working the series, starting in about two weeks. Here is a link to the trailer for the pilot.
http://abc.go.com/primetime/flashforward/index?pn=index You'll have to sit through a 30 second commercial first. Lots of action and suspense. |
That looks good. I'll give it a shot. I'll post 6 months from now and tell you what I think then...I'll use this to replace my LOST fix.
|
I'll put a reminder in my BB to post again around, but before 9/24

Can you have someone leak the unfinished pilot?
I got hooked on Lost when the pilot was leaked online 2 months before it aired. |
Pilot is finished, and no, it's not worth my job. BTW, all scripts that I get have my name burned across every page.

Do you know if that Lost pilot was leaked on purpose to generate buzz, leaked illegally by someone in production, or "can't say" which we will infer what we want? |
I honestly don't know. What I can tell you is that hundreds of people see scripts before a decision is made to go to production, and once a show is picked up, the same with ongoing scripts.

pretty cool job you got there! :)
|
I've seen the pilot and it looks good. Hugh, were you out there when they filmed the big mess on the 110 fwy? I guess they have a 12 episode pickup with pretty much a guarantee for the back 9.
Nice to see production staying in California. |
Yep, I was there, dealing with Cal Trans, CHP, LAPD, LAFD, State Fire Marshal, DOT (State and Federal), CA Film Commission, and a bunch of other agencies,
|
Interesting concept...yeah, I'll watch. Thanks.
