Best electric shaver for under $50?

My 2001 Braun 150 is about on its last legs. I only use it to touch up where I missed with the wet razor and when I travel. I'm leaning toward Braun's low-end series 1 shavers. Anything else I should consider?

Harbor Freight has them for $7 or so. A good friend of mine swears by them.

Remington Titanium Travel shaver. it's an old style foil shaver.

$9.99 at Meijer.

This is the only electric I have found that works on my face just perfectly.

I use it after a disposable to clean up what got missed.

I have spare parts if you get one and need any.;)

Yeah, I know.

It's just like the box of Porsche parts in the closet. You MAY need that one little item someday.

None of them. I went through a variety of cheap electrics. I finally bought a high end Braun for over $100. It sits in the corner because I finally accepted the fact that no electric is as good as a blade.

FWIW I bought a pretty decent Braun at Wal Mart for $75 or so. They have half a dozen models to choose from. The one I bought is cordless and works great.

Might be worth the extra $25.

I was at Target today and they had the Braun 1 series 150 and 190 for $35 and $44, respectively. I can probably do much better on eBay. I really don't need anything fancy. I use a wet razor mostly and just the electric for touch up work.

Rick, if you can find the travel shaver I posted about you will love it.

I would think any Target/KMart/WalMart type store would carry it. For $10, it's a deal and a half. I forget that Meijer is big but not nationwide.

I've tried all kinds of e-shavers of styles and brands and this cheapo is the best I have found for me.

if you can't find it in your area I'll go buy one and send it to you.

Thanks. Looks like they're on eBay. I check Target next time I'm there.
