In 2010, there will be more TVs in the U.S. than people.
We have four. How many do you have?
|
Three, but we only watch one at a time...
|
2
1 downstairs 1 upstairs No cable or sattelite, either. Hooked up the converter boxes this week. |

How many places do you guys watch TV?
We actually only watch one of our two TV's. Anyone want to buy a 35" CRT (or was it 32")? |

We only recieve about 6 channels, though. CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox(sometimes) and a couple of different PBS stations. I refuse to purchase and mount a rooftop device so this is what we'll have to get used to viewing. We are using HD rabbit ears. Just about anything and any show is accessible via the Internet so I'm not too concerned about missing anything major. Saving close to $80.00 a month. |
One.
And when it finally dies, it won't be replaced. |
Just 2
|
3 - 1 for the wife, 1 for me and 1 for the kids
|
1.... I hardly ever watch it myself.
wife and kids maybe 3-4 hours a day. |
2. 42" LCD in family room and very old 21" CRT in study. I'd like an excuse to replace the CRT. We will never have TVs in bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom. The only other rooms where I will permit a TV are (if we had these rooms) guest suite, exercise room, laundry room. We do have cable, get voice and data on cable too.

i own one. a 42 (maybe 47? i forget) sony LCD. if you can only have one, make it a decent one. i dont want one in the bedroom. doesnt make sense at all to me.
my TV watching is creeping up on me. not good. |
At home, kitchen family room, study, basement
At the lake, just one in the family room At school, one in the living room and one in each of the two bedrooms |
No TV here. It is good for everyone in the family, especially the kids.

One in the living room, one in the office, one in the garage. I was watching the Le Mans race on Saturday while tinkering on my cars. I had to watch it real time in the garage. I recorded the late night parts of the race and watched that Sunday in the office. My wife watched her house hunters stuff in the living room. If it were not for Speed, Science Channel, Nat Geo, Discovery & Military Channel I would not even have cable.

I watch the History channel some. I just bothers me that they spend so much programming on Ghost Hunters, UFOs, and other 100% BS shows. It makes it hard to believe anything else they do when they can have an entire day devoted to UFOs.
I cannot stand the sports shows that are just opinions or just talking heads. I do watch the Comedy Channel and Sci-Fi on occasion. |
Three TVs (that I use). One in the living room, one in the bedroom and one in my office. Two more stashed away in storage. Oh, I live alone! :D
Don't really watch it much, just put it on to have some noise in the house. Randy |
