Yes, a huge driving pet-peeve. A close second would be the people who are too clueless to move over to the left lane at a two-lane intersection if they are not turning right. Seriously, if you are not turning right (and you are going to be first at the light), move over!

This happens to me daily. Just last night I was coming home at about 10pm. Nobody on the roads. I approach a 4-way intersection (2 lanes each way) and am in the right lane wanting to turn right. There are literally only 2 cars at the entire intersection. Me, and the guy in front of me, in the right lane, NOT turning right. I even put my blinker on way in advance, so he could see it before coming to a stop. WTF?

Driving in Germany was a pleasure, except for the GOTCHA speed changes on the stretches of autobahn I drove. I came home with three speeding tickets. They call the cameras (spelled phonetically) "bleetzahs", and they are bastards with the.

But, small price to pay for logical driving. I'd take it any day.

Observation: a lot of impatience and a lack of respect out there these days.
People acting dangerously with strangers that they wouldn't do with their own friends and family, just because they are sitting in an anonymous box.

Seriously, are some of you really that late for the grocery store, or getting home to type on the computer for hours and hours?
Take a chill pill, and do so planning/thinking at the next clusterf'k. Or just start 10 minutes early.
Hypertension will get rid of a few of you early, but if all bets are off I'm going for the caltrops/smoke screen/oil slick/....

(but yes, I agree LL squatters should be ticketed, as should reckless drivers).
