The Best and Ultimate Question from Our Child...
Not "What is God?" or "Where do babies come from?" or "Why do men have nipples?" Nope. All very good questions. The best question I have heard so far is ...
"Dad, what would you do if you were in my place?" I say that this is the best because it shows that the young are willing to consier the wisdom of the ages. Not that they can't make up there own minds but rather they are willing to consider a point which has experienced more situations and hopefully can provide greater wisdom and insight. |
How old is he?
Completely different answers come to mind if he is 18 not 4. |
He is 10. He doesn't ask this often, only with what he considers serious matters and he doesn;t always go with my suggestions.
I wish our little one who is 6 would do this more - she is very independent, a drama queen and mostly likely the smartest one of us all - just ask her! |
Clean your room. <- best of all answers
