Help my stepson plan roadtrip from LA to Jackson, Mississippi
20 y.o. stepson is planning to drive from LA to Mississippi in next week or so. He has done what he can to put his father's matters to rest so his best friend is flying out and they will drive his dad's truck back.
Most direct route is from LA-->Flagstaff--->Albuquerque--->Dallas--->Mississippi (c. 1900 miles). They have about a week to 10 days before they have to be home. They've talked about going up to Grand Canyon. Any suggestions for routes for them to take? Places to see, etc? They may stop and camp some along the way.
