Oregon Country Fair

Well, it's that time of year again. Time for me to hang up the wool slacks and the silk neckties and frolic with the hippies. With my Rosary in my pocket, I will be cavorting with Pagans and they won't even know I'm Catholic. Won't care, either.

There will be smiles everywhere. Illegal smiles and legal ones. Hugs everywhere. I'll be gone more than a week, so you guys will need to sort out these political and religious conundrums on your own for a change. Don't get freaked out, as I will help when I return.

If any of you guys are smart enough to join in the celebration, I can be found any day of the Fair at the Bus Gate from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I have no idea what I will be wearing, but I have a new dress with a floral print that is red, white and blue. Whoever you are, I will be happy to see you and so will everyone else.

Won't be making it to the fair, but I'll smoke a big fat bowl in your honor.

I'd tag that chick in the black dress. Kinda old, but hot in a hippy way.

I think it is the green fanny pack with the black dress that I find most disturbing.
I was gonna say that it didn't look like the county fair folk that I'm familiar with. Except for the lady in the bathing suit with blue hair, her facial hair is about as thick as some of the ladies in this neck of the woods.
Have fun, you can eat both the caps and stems.

It's not the County fair it's the Country Fair. Actually, it is a ton of fun, lots of hippie shenanigans - and yes, caps and stems do come into play, just like buds and blotter, (so I've heard) and a good showing from the young and the topless. (and no, I don't want to see whats under that black dress, or that fanny pack, thankyouverymuch)

Paul - I only go every 3rd or 4th or 5th year or something & only during cool weather, but my sporadic appearances date back to its 3rd or 4th or 5th year or something..

This is their 40th anniversary & I'll be there this year.

I'll look for you, S'man -- will be out during & after and after worker hours but not sure which day.

I will be disguised as a Republican.

Indeed, this Fair is a serious costume competition among some VERY creative people. It is hard to imagine how creative they can get, considering this is a private party and there are virtually no rules. And so with all this debauchery (nearly complete nudity, body painting, etc.), one of the costumes that stand out the most is.........Republican. FBI Agent.

Copy that. The girl on her right has that cute and petite look goin' on. Not alot of male competition. Might be playing for the other team, tho, considering the environment.

I invite you all to come see capitalism in action.

There is even an options market in worker passes...

Dunno if anyone has collateralized them yet into debt obligations.
