No More Static?

So our august moderator has become conspicuous in his absence.

What happened?

This place is a lot smaller without him IMO.

Maybe he's trying to see how long he can go without posting.

Like closing your eyes while you're driving and seeing how high you can count.

He just closed a tasteless thread that I thought should have been removed. There's still time.

There's an easy way to test it. Someone needs to go over to the Chest thread and post up some bewbs.

That might be more up to Z-man. The Z has the power to ban as does Wayne.

I've noticed he hasn't been posting as much.

Like a lot of others who have slowed down or stopped altogether.

Motion, kstar, and some others, I was thinking about how they are gone. The problem is, they aren't replaced with similar quality.

It really is jumping the shark this time.

What is "jumping the shark"? I get a definition of going over the top to increase ratings, or attention grabbing by extreme means.

How do you mean your statement? Just wanting to know, no tricks.

Does not mean anything. If I leave the computer turned on and connected to the internet with the PP OT forum opened up, it shows that I am logged on.

I could be in Hong Kong or Moscow but the computer at home makes it appear that I am there and online.

It comes from the episode of Happy Days when the Fonz jumped over a shark on water skis in his leather jacket. That episode was consider by most to be the turning point in that show's popularity. After that episode everything went downhill and the show was eventually ended. Now, anything that has reached it's greatest point and is now on the decline is considered to have "jumped the shark".

It's summer. He has a kid. They are probably off playing at the range or surfing or something. 911Rob doesn't post right now either. They will both be back. I promise.

Then I totally agree, PPOT has jumped the shark and is now a sewer and an embarrassment to Wayne and his business.

Not only that, but the server seems to be constipated most of the time.

I'm guessing Todd is on the road, washing Donald Fagen's socks.
