As for the guilt of the people you mentioned, i have no argument.

People will fly in from all over for it.

The Figueroa and other hotels in the vicinity will be booked.

The restaurants will see some good coin.

The city and state will see its share of tax revenue.

It'll generate a couple of million in cash that will be spread around.

Not a huge sum of money considering the current financial climate in CA but money is money.

I don't think they'd be entertaining it if there was not a projected profit.

Last night, someone mentioned MJ's body was at Forest Lawn Mortuary near Warner Bros. Studios. The press was there in a matter of minutes.

This stuff is turning into a game. Where's the body? Where's the funeral? When's the funeral? Who has custody of the kids? Is there a will?

What makes you so obnoxious is the self righteous arrogance with which you presume facts from tabloid trash, and then state categorically that someone is a "mentally disturbed evil baby-rapist" who you would kill in "five minutes in a closed room" and who should "rot in hell" etc. etc. Strong words from someone who doesn't have a fecking clue what he's talking about. And this all because you presume facts.

Let me give you an example of what is wrong with presuming facts. You have over 17,000 posts on this board—all of them long. Let's assume (conservatively) that you spend an average of 15 minutes on each post. Then let's assume (again conservatively) that for each 15 minutes that you spend posting, you spend another 30 minutes surfing and reading other posts on this board. That comes to 765,000 minutes or 12,750 hours since 2004 when you joined. Or more than six years of full time 40 hour weeks! And I believe most of those posts were made from your former place of employment.

So were I to presume facts (like you do about Polanski and Jackson) I would have to conclude that you are one extraordinary sad-sack dead-beat who hasn't done an honest days work since joining this board (and probably before) who has no life whatsoever because he spends all of it pontificating here. I would assume further that you got sacked from your old job because you spent 8 hours a day on PPOT.

Now of course I would probably be wrong in this, because you are no doubt a clever and ambitious young man who is going places. I just want to point out how wrong it is to presume facts about others and form hard-boiled conclusions from such presumptions.

I happen to know Roman Polanski, and I have more respect for him as a human being and artist than you can possibly imagine. I have stated my view of that scandal on another thread and won't repeat it here. At least do yourself a favour and rent the award winning documentary "Polanski" and try to form a full picture of the man before spewing your presumptuous bile here in another turgid post.

Tuesday is the day MJ gets memorialized. It'll be at the Staples Center.

An estimated 1 million people/fans will descend on L.A. to be part of the festivities, and hopefully get a share in the paltry 11,000 general admission tickets to the public memorial.

The LAPD does not have enough manpower to control 1 million people, and the City Council wants to know who is going to pay for all this.
