Pelican slow to load?

Anyone one else having problems with pages slow to load or open?
I've restarted my terminal and ran my spyware but it still locks up when going from one forum to another.

other sites work with no problems.

It's a subtle hint that we could be doing something else.

Yes, sometimes I'll pick a page and it'll eventually time out. Sometimes it's blazing fast.

I suspect it seems to be the same time of day, sorta. Around 9am-ish west coast time. Time for the IT guy to fix the bugs.

Verizon does the same thing around quitting time on fridays and then crashes all weekend (different shift of geeks). Monday morning, same thing in reverse, the weekday geeks come in and undo/redo all the weekend geeks' fixes.

Sometimes, I'll enter a post, click SEND and it churns a bit, then down at the lower left corner of the browser window, says "Error on page."

And the post doesn't appear.

Its up and down. Sounds like its time for a reboot and a new A/C unit for the server room.

Fits and starts here as well...when it hits slow mode, I just leave for a while.

Same problems here on and off for a few days. The Pelican severs must be getting hot and Wayne has to shut them down as he told us last week. I think they are having air conditioning problems in the server room.

Nice to know the problem isn't on my end...I guess. Boobs and Butts?
Love 'em...and to think, they are mass produced by volunteer unskilled labor then improved upon by skilled surgeons.
