Phoenix tomorrow
going to fly into Phoenix to look at a car, if I get it I will probably be comming straight back, if not, going to spend the night someplace close to the airport and come back Thursday. How hot is it?

Missed you, got into Phoenix at 1 pm met the guy drove around, he lives out by John McCains old house, bought it and drove home. Just got home. What's the scoop with all the photo enforcement zones, when you see them are you already busted? No helmet law in Az?

No helmet law in AZ, the temp "pop up" photo vehicles have to have a sign on the road 100 yard before you come up on them. The "built in" versions do not.

I would see those photo signs and wonder if I was already tagged.
I got a 89 Vanagon, pretty clean, nice car, well taken care of. A 86 targa in his garage with 55k miles on it. The air worked good on the Vanagon, even in Phoenix, I used it almost all the way home. Pretty cool around here now, no need for air today, got it smogged a little bit ago and am going now to pay up the but to the DMV. Thought about staying around but hit the road anyway. Didn't know anybody in town.

I didn't know I was going to go look at it until Tuesday evening and flew there Wednsday morning. Way to short of time to see if I could meet anyone.
Pretty warm there. Sure is a lot of desert. |
