Neat Yard Sale LP Find
I was browsing a yard sale and saw this cool Riverside Records LP of "The incredible sounds of the two greatest Gran Prix cars ever built: Mercedes-Benz W125 and W163, driven in special demonstration at Oulton Park, England" I paid a dollar for it and now need to find a turntable to play it on. It was recorded in 1958. Check out the transporter on the front cover. Pretty neat.

Find someone to convert it to digital format, then save the record. Hope you post it somewhere.

That is AWESOME! I am totally vinyl head. Probaby 2000+ LPs at this point. There is so much cool stuff on vinyl that you would never find in a digital format.

I just found this one on eBay...
My BIL still has his turntable set up so I'll play it this weekend. |

Cool...I'd be glad to pay for a tape & postage...my "high tech" way of recording music. Hard drive is on to something here...vinyl still works great for me. Much warmer than the CD sound.

Paul, I'll be more than happy to send you a tape (cassette or reel to reel) at no charge. I'll be interested to hear what this sounds like. I hope it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up! |
